first meeting

The first time we meet, we will get to know each other a little bit. I will ask some introductory questions and you can ask any questions that you have for me.

second meeting/question session

If we decide to work together, the second meeting will ideally be in a space that you inhabit. It is very helpful to my process if I am able to see your space. How you choose to decorate, what you keep around you, what colors you like, helps me to see you and connect to you in a deeper way.

I will bring some general questions that are designed to learn about your aesthetic preferences and a bit about you personally.

visiting my studio

The next visit will be to my studio space. This will give you time to further think about the things we already discussed and you will be able to add any new thoughts or ideas you may have had. I will also potentially have more questions for you.

the creative process

After the interview sessions, I will begin the piece. Each piece that I build is a different experience and the process going forward will vary quite a bit. Sometimes I may need to ask further questions or have further meetings with you, sometimes I have everything I need. Sometimes the piece practically builds itself, sometimes it can take months.

It is a journey that you and I are taking together. My intent is that we both experience a bit of magic and transformation through this process.
